Therefore the first thing to do is to check whether any of the apps you are currently using on your Mac are 32-bit and make plans to stop relying on them by September 2019 if you will want to update to the version of macOS that launches then. Then in April 2018 Mac users running High Sierra started seeing warnings if they tried to open a 32-bit app stating that the app ‘is not optimised for your Mac’.
